This course is a comprehensive final project for the classics major. Students will learn to do research and write according to the methods, style, and scope of the professional classical philologist. Students in this course will produce a final written essay or translation with commentary amounting to approximately seven thousand words and defend it orally. Need to have completed a 4000-level Latin course.
