Office for Advancement
The Benedictine College Office for Advancement is responsible for strengthening the institution through strategic initiatives, programs, events, and campaigns executed by the offices of Advancement Services, Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, Development, Stewardship & Donor Relations, and Planned Giving.
Advancement Services
The Office of Advancement Services maintains an accurate database of alumni, friends and other stakeholders. The Office is responsible for prospect research, donor relations and stewardship, special event planning, and for the timely recording, receipting and acknowledging of gifts to Benedictine College. Advancement Services helps the college use data strategically to meet fundraising goals.
Alumni Relations
This Office of Alumni Relations provides students and alumni the system to access internships, job opportunities, mentoring, and career counseling through The Raven Walk, an online professional networking platform. The Office hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year to engage alumni, benefactors and friends with the College. The Office is the administrator for the Benet Awards, honoring benefactors and outstanding alumni/alumnae of Benedictine College, St. Benedict’s College, and Mount St. Scholastica College: The Cross of the Order of St. Benedict, the Young Alumni award, the Kansas Monk, and the Offeramus Medal.
Annual Giving
The Office of Annual Giving works with all constituents of the College to build the annual fund through mail campaigns, e-mails, phonathons, Day of Giving, and the Scholarship Ball. Annual fund gifts support students with scholarships, student research, improve faculty experience, upgrade facilities, expand academic resources, pioneer new programs, and other special initiatives of the College. The annual donations keep the Benedictine organizations, departments, and athletic teams strong; and continues to grow the faith formation initiatives. The staff also produces four issues annually of the Spirit of Giving magazine.
Development
The Office of Development is committed to securing the philanthropic resources that are transforming Benedictine College. We engage alumni, friends, families, corporations, and foundations in the life of the College and encourage financial investment in Benedictine College's future..
Stewardship and Donor Relations
The Office of Stewardship and Donor Relations works to ensure donors to the College have a positive and rewarding philanthropic experience. Recognizing donors for the value they bring to the community and providing an extension of that community back to them through timely examples of impact on the students, campus, and community at large.
Planned Giving
The Office of Planned Giving strengthens the College through legacy gifts established by the constituent. The support of Benedictine College reflects the values and the mission to educate students in a community of faith and scholarship. A gift left to Benedictine College in a will or trust is a way to ensure Benedictine values live on for future generations.
