Accounting Minor

The minor in Accounting is for the student who wishes to build a limited base of accounting knowledge while improving his or her financial and analytical skills. ACCT-2090 Principles of Financial Accounting, ACCT-2100 Principles of Managerial Accounting, ACCT-3270 Intermediate Financial Account Theory 1, and ACCT-3280 Intermediate Finanancial Acct Theory II should be taken in sequence; ACCT-2090 Principles of Financial Accounting and ACCT-2100 Principles of Managerial Accounting are prerequisites for the remaining courses, and a grade of C or higher must be earned in these two prerequisite courses. A grade of C or higher must be earned in each of the remaining courses counting toward the minor.
