Christian Marriage and Family Studies Minor

The minor in Christian Marriage & Family Studies is an inter-disciplinary minor consisting primarily of courses in Theology and in the social sciences. Its purpose is to provide students with a pastoral, personal, and theoretical understanding of the Christian vision of marriage and family and their respective roles in society in order to prepare them for their own personal vocations, for further studies in various related fields, and for promoting and upholding this vision in the Church and the world.

For theology majors, only three of the Theology and/or Evangelization courses taken for this minor can also be counted for the Theology major.
